Easy Goal
Hitting the puck against the wall near your opponents side of the ice is a nice strategy to use, especially in expert mode. This is because when the puck hits the wall, the puck bounces off the wall in a diagoanal-like direction and can usually score a goal this way, this a very helpful strategy and is reccommended to use often to score high.
Stop Opponent From Moving
There is a little trick you can use to stop your opponent from moving for a limited amount of time. If you and your opponent are in a power struggle for the puck, and you are hitting the fire button rapidly, sometimes you can halt your opponent and you will get control of the puck (Warning: Computer can and will use this as well). When you execute this strategy, the hockey player who was "injured" will simply stand on the ice will one leg up.
Stop A Goal
When the computer is near your goal, and he is constantly switching his blade's direction while the puck is in his posession, you do the same and usually you can counter his attack and hit the puck away from your area, which is good. If you don't switch the blades direction while the computer is doing so, usually he will score and you will fail.
Face Off
Try to get the puck in your posession as soon as the game begins. This is a good thing to do so that you start off the game on a good note. Try to do this in every additional face off, although sometimes the puck will move towards the computers "path" instead of yours. Nothing you can do about that, it's all random in face offs.
Difficulties
Their are two difficulty switches to choose from. Mode one has the overall difficulty set on average, the puck and the players move kind of slow in this mode. Mode two has the overall difficulty of expert, because the puck and the players move very fast in this mode. You can also play against a friend if you wish to.
Cheating Computer
The objective of the game is to score more goals then the computer or friend in a two minute period of non-stop, fast paced, hockey. There is a lot more to do in this game then you think. The computer in both switches is a real frustration because of all the little ways that the computer cheats themselfs to victory, which is very unfair.
