Sound Test During the continue screen rotate the directional pad in a counter clockwise direction. Even More Continues During the sound test play sound effect 62 three times then exit the sound test. On the continue screen rotate the directional pad in a clockwise direction for more continues. You can access a maximum of 30 continues. This code can be repeated unlimited times. Note: Don't try and get more than 99 continues because it will reset at 00. Extended Sound Test During the sound test there are 17 sounds. If you hold button 2 and press right you can access up to 95 sound effects. Extra Continues During the continue screen rotate the directional pad in a clockwise direction for a maximum of 12 continues. Secret Level On the fourth level enter the large block of mechanical cells at the top. There will be two openings, fly up into the first and backwards into the crescent. Invincibility Plug in both controllers. Hold Down-Right on Controller One and Up-Left + Button 1 on Controller Two. Turn on the unit and continue holding these buttons until "R-Type" comes on the screen.
