After typing in XYZZY, type:
BRIBE: removes police officers
K'THUNK!: gives you a bat - invalid code??
SPOON!: gives you nitrous oxide
THWAK!: gives you a chain
PLUGH: disables cheat mode
YES,OCCIFER: no cops
